Anatomy and Physiology (100hrs)
The aim of this module is to understand and explain the functions of the functional systems and recognize the symptoms, causes and effects of diseases and disorders of the functional systems. The functional systems covered are: skeletal, muscular, skin, cell, circulatory & lymphatic, neurological, endocrine, respiratory, digestive.
Holistic Massage (100hrs)
The aim of this module is to understand methods of consultation, common ailments and contraindications to massage, hygiene practices, the classical massage movements and their physiological and psychological effects, and to evaluate and review massage treatment/programmes.
Professional Conduct & Business Awareness (50hrs)
The aim of this module is to enable student to understand types of business, advantages and disadvantages of each type of business, finance and costing, advertisement and promotion plan.
It explores the types of businesses, advantages and disadvantages of each type of business, finance and costing, advertisement paraphernalia, and chances of promotion in the industry.
