Course Objective: The aim of this module is to understand and explain the anatomical structures, explain the physiological functions of the body systems, and recognize the symptoms, causes and effects of diseases and disorders of the functional systems mentioned. The functional systems covered are: skeletal, muscular, skin, cell, circulatory & lymphatic, neurological, endocrine, respiratory, digestive. The course will help students to develop a vocabulary of appropriate terminology, so as to effectively communicate information related to anatomy and physiology.
