Assessment and Grading:

This qualification will be internally and externally assessed using the assessment of skills as set out below table:

• At least age of 16 or above
• Overall pass in GCE “N” Level with at least a Grade 5 in any two subjects or pass in TCMHC GCE “N“ Level in-house test
• Pass in GCE “N” Level Chinese with minimum Grade 5 or pass in TCMHC GCE “N” Level in-house test

The ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Manicure and Pedicure consists of 1 unit

• Manicure and Pedicure (50 hours)

This comprehensive course provides many avenues for student-learning in areas of contraindications for nail disease and disorders, performing hand sanitation, using nail equipment like cuticle knives and buffers, nail finishing, and applying proper hygiene standards in nail treatment. Essentially, students will learn to apply knowledge about nail manicure and pedicure treatments in their workplace.

• Give a solid foundation in Manicure and Pedicure, and to qualify Students with a Level 2 qualification in Manicure and Pedicure.
• Support management professionals working in the Beauty Therapy Industry by giving them fundamental knowledge in this subject. Students will be able to develop a range of competencies, communication skills, problem-solving techniques, personal qualities, and attitudes useful in their work.
• Prepare students for new career opportunities in this area.
